SARDINE

Today we went to Sardine. We were quite hungry so we decided to go for a snack, and we also wanted a green and fresh ambience. The location is not far from our home, its in Petitenget. As you expected with such a name, this restaurant specialized in seafood, but they also provided balinese food.

There was no other signage, only this one. But you can recognize this place from the stone walls and the straw hats.

We were greeted by this lovely barong.
The outdoor front area.
The bar was lookin good with the touch of a pretty traditional balinese dancer's eyes painting.
The area behind the bar, it's specially designed for a fine dining.
The table's details. It was set up nicely.
Fresh hydrangeas were arranged neatly.
The indoor area is only for fine dining, they open for lunch and dinner.

The back outdoor area is perfect for chilling in the afternoon while facing a beautiful rice field.

There was a pond on the left side of the back area and also paths for us to take a walk and enjoy the breeze.

We were sitting on the outdoor area, because we only went there for chillin and we were to soon for dinner. We ordered a couple of tapas or what we usually called appetizers. Both of them were balinese foods. And peppermint tea for the drink.

Wok fried bantal chicken in pandan leaf with hot and sour sauce.

Sate of pork tenderloin, kecap manis, chili and lime leaf.

Youween's outfit.
A halter top with a side slit long skirt and wedges. Because ya we need to dress up a lil if we went to a beautiful place like this.
There was a bale bengong in the middle of the rice field, what a nice place for relaxing,
Dea's outfit.
A navy long jumpsuit with a strap sandals. For me comfortable is number one!
This place is really a good place for taking photos.
We really enjoyed our visit to Sardine, the employees were very well dressed and professional. What we like about this restaurant is it gave us a peaceful and green ambience in the middle of the crowded and busy city also the interior design with a traditional balinese twist that made its different from the other. We definitely recommend this place for a family or a couple fine dining.
Lastly, we would like to apologize because we are an amateur blogger that just learned how to blog, hope we can inspire you! Xoxo
