LA-DUNIA

Last Thursday we went to this restaurant around Batubolong. Though the first plan was to go to another place, but we ended up here because this restaurant was really attractive.

The signage is very huge, you can see it clearly from far away.

The parking lot was big enough, and they also provide valet service.

The front ceiling was naturally pretty.

Our table.
There was Dea and our cousin, Fionna that just went back to Sydney. This view was taken from the stairs, so we could picture the level one clearly.
When we just went in, there was a cake showcase and bar area on the right side.
A cute corner for a photoshoot!
La-Dunia is a 2-floor restaurant, with amazing interior on both floors.
Pantry on the second floor.
A cute corner on the second floor. We loved the way they used patchwork for the sofa and chairs. They also put a cactus on every table.
#WhatWeAte

Since we already had breakfast, and we were to full for lunch, we only ordered some starters and a
dessert.

“Octopus without borders”
Mediteranian inspired tender pan fried baby octopus served with a crunchy polenta beignet, wild rucola and watercress salad. Served with a chumichuri dressing.
“The Wandering Duck”
Freshly farmed and cured duck slices, served with wild rucola and watercress salad, fresh pomelo, croutons and cherry tomato, drizzled in a cherry vinegar dressing.
Apparently we had no idea about the ingredients written on the menu, so we were confused when this dishes came to our table.

The last one! “Hello Sunshine”
A delicate and mellow white chocolate and lemon mousse cake and almond nuts.

Youween’s outfit.
A simple monochrome outfit for lazy day.

Dea’s outfit.
A simple tshirt dress and a tie up flannel.
We came here with Fionna, and she is already in Sydney by now for her study. Good luck for your school there Fionna! We can’t wait to meet you again.
P.S: This photo was taken by a very friendly staff J
Fortunately, we met Mr. Alain Pons, the owner of La-Dunia. He is from French, and he told us that he was the architect and the interior designer for La-Dunia. Well, what a great job Mr. Pons! Uh! And also he mentioned that La-Dunia will come up with some new dishes. We are looking forward for the invitation! Xoxo
